I shed silent tears..

For you, not for me, I shed silent tears. Did things I would never do for myself. The flower you wanted, was there in tree at the slippery cliff. You insisted, the flower or our parting. I gambled with my life, spared by a flicker of divine mercy. You saw it as romance, but left me wounded, revealing my safely meant nothing to you —Perhaps you wished my fall, so I wouldn’t uncover the true colors of your love—a canvas painted with lies.
